FAQs: Order Placement Error “Your IP Has Changed, Please Recreate Payment”

updated 2026-09-09 10:32:49

1. Why do I receive the error “Your IP (1234:5678:900::000) has changed. Please recreate payment” when placing an order?
This message is triggered by an automated security check during the order and payment process. The system may detect a change in the connection or session information compared with the previous session. This can happen when you access your SEAGM account from different devices, browsers, or connections, or when you use the SEAGM website and application at the same time.
If the system detects a change that requires the payment session to be recreated, the “Your IP has changed, please recreate payment” message may be displayed.

2. How can I resolve the “IP has changed” error?
Please log out of your SEAGM account from other devices, browsers, or SEAGM applications where you are currently logged in.
After logging out, follow the steps below based on the device or platform you are using.
(i) SEAGM Website on Chrome, Safari, or other browsers

  • Log out of your SEAGM account from any other browser windows or devices where you are currently logged in.
  • Clear your browser history and cache.
  • Open a new browser tab or window and access the SEAGM website.
  • Log in to your SEAGM account.
  • Place a NEW order and proceed with the checkout process again.

If the same error continues to appear, please contact our Customer Support team via LiveChat for further assistance.

(ii) SEAGM Application

  • Log out of your SEAGM account from the SEAGM Application and any browser windows where you are currently logged in.
  • Clear the browser history and cache on the device.
  • Reopen the SEAGM Application and log in again.
  • Place a NEW order and proceed with checkout as usual.

If the issue persists, you may also try placing the order through a web browser by following the steps in 2(i).

3. Can the “IP has changed” error happen again after it has been resolved?
Yes. The message may appear again if the automated security check detects a similar change in your connection or session information. If this happens, you may follow the troubleshooting steps in Question 2 and recreate the order and payment session.

4. What should I do if the steps above do not resolve the issue?
If you continue to receive the “Your IP has changed, please recreate payment” error after following the recommended steps, please contact our Customer Support team for further assistance. Our team will review the issue and advise you on the next steps.

Thank you.
