Why is my SEAGM Member Account Locked?

updated 2026-06-18 10:34:23

The SEA Gamer Mall membership system includes built-in security features designed to protect customer accounts from unauthorised access. As part of these safeguards, the system automatically limits the number of failed login attempts. For security reasons, all member accounts will be automatically locked after 3 or more unsuccessful login attempts.

Common Reasons You May Be Unable to Access Your Account
If you are experiencing login issues, please review the possible reasons below:

1. Incorrect login credentials (Forgot password or email)
If you see an error message such as “Invalid login email or password”, it means the credentials entered do not match our records.
Solution:
You may reset your password by selecting “Reset Password” on the login page. This will help restore access while keeping your account secure.

2. Account locked due to multiple failed login attempts
If incorrect passwords are entered repeatedly, your account will be temporarily locked as a security measure.
Solution:
Use the “Reset Password” option to reset your password and regain access. If the reset does not resolve the issue, please contact Customer Support via LiveChat for further assistance.

3. Account suspended after password reset attempt
If you receive a message stating “Account was suspended”, your account may have been temporarily suspended.
Solution:
Please contact SEAGM Customer Support via LiveChat for assistance in reviewing and restoring your account access. SEAGM reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to accounts at any time in accordance with security and platform policies.

4. Why does this happen?
In most cases, login failures occur due to incorrect password entry rather than system errors. Possible reasons include:

  • Repeated typing errors during login attempts
  • Forgotten or outdated credentials
  • Suspicious login activity triggering security protection
  • These measures are in place to ensure account safety and prevent unauthorised access.
