Step 1: Take a piece of paper and pen, and write down [SEAGM and Date of the Day].
Step 2: Get your identity card or passport ready with you.
Step 3: Open your phone camera, be it front or back.
Step 4: Place on a table with hard items behind as supporting or use a selfie stick if possible.
Step 5: Set a timer on your camera settings with 3,6,10 seconds.
Step 6: Hold your identity card/passport together with the written note next to your face, like the image below, then press the picture-taking button.
Step 7: Then, wait for the timer to countdown and picture captured.
Step 8: Check the outcome. If the picture was shaky, blurry [like the sample below] or covered, please re-take a new one.

Common mistakes in the KYC Document Verification Process:
1. Inconsistent image which includes:
- Shaky/blurry image of the documents
- Covered documents or face
- Photoshopped images
- Cropped images
- Distorted images
2. Wrong document includes:
- Residential card
- A non-government-issued card such as a student ID, bank card, Company Badge etc.,
- Driving License(only specific countries allowed)
3. Expired documents.
