1. What should I do if my status in PayPal shown was under "completed" and the amount is already being deducted, but in the SEAGM account shown was "Pay Now/Expired"?
No worries! For payment under pending review, your PayPal account might show payment deducted and completed, but in SEAGM order status under "pay now, wait for payment or expired". You may proceed to check with our Customer Support Team via LiveChat on the latest status. Once checked, if mentioned as payment under "Pending review" by our team, you may check in your mailbox that was matched with your PayPal account email address. There will be an email sent by PayPal regarding notification of payment under review with all the details within 24 hours time.
Usually for payment under "Pending Review", it's the PayPal team working in reviewing the payment if it's secure or if any potential risk on the payment made. Once the PayPal team reviewed and verified the transaction, PayPal will proceed with clearing the transaction to the seller or reverse the amount back to the buyer's account directly once detected potential risk on the payment made.
2. What is Pending Review in PayPal?
PayPal holds funds for a variety of reasons and is usually based on the activity of the account. Pending review in Paypal is basically referring to manual reviewing of all the payments made to reduce fraudulent transactions and help sellers to avoid unwanted risk.
3. How long does it take for "Pending Review" payments to approve or denied?
For pending review payment, it usually takes 24 hours or up to 3 working days for the PayPal team to review and check on the payment before making finalized result on the transaction. You will be receiving an email from PayPal once the payment had been reviewed. You may also contact PayPal Official Support or our SEAGM Support Team to confirm the latest status.
4. How do I know if my payment review is approved or denied?
PayPal will send an email regarding the final result to your PayPal-linked email address. Do check your mailbox frequently and remember to check in the junk/spam mailbox too! Kindly take note that your order will be fulfilled once the payment review is completed by Paypal. We will as well send you a notification via email on the order payment confirmation. Do contact our Customer Support Team if the order is still in "Wait Send" status once email confirmation from SEAGM is well received.
5. If shown in the PayPal account was under "completed" but SEAGM order status showed "unpaid", does SEAGM able to manually approve or cancel it?
Nope. This is because, the payment was still under review in PayPal, and has yet to release to SEAGM. Therefore, we are not able to manually proceed with any adjustment on the transaction. Please wait for the email result from PayPal on the finalized transaction status. If you're unsure about your current transaction status, you may directly contact our customer service support team via LiveChat to proceed with checking. The checking process might take around a few minutes.

No. Kindly refrain from submitting disputes to avoid any inconvenience. For disputes received in PayPal, your transaction status will be changed from completed to on-hold in the PayPal account. There will be no estimated time for the payment to be returned back to you for dispute payment and will be much longer than the payment under "Pending Review". Once the dispute is submitted, the PayPal team will alert our team on this account dispute, your SEAGM account will also be suspended for investigation.
7. What do all these statuses mean in PayPal?
(i) Pending: PayPal reviewing the transaction. PayPal will send your payment to the recipient/merchant after your payment source has been verified.
(ii) Completed: The transaction had been made by the user. Please contact our Customer Support Team via LiveChat if the status was still under "Unpaid" in the SEAGM account.
(iii) On hold: We’re holding the funds temporarily because either you filed a dispute or we’re reviewing the transaction. We've also emailed you with more information about this transaction.
(iv) Held: PayPal reviewing the transaction and so your payment has been held.
(v) Temporary hold: Funds from your account are being held temporarily during the authorization process. The seller is not able to use or withdraw these funds until the authorization is complete.
(vi) Refunded: The seller had refunded your payment made. For PayPal balance payment, it will back to your account balance directly. If you used a bank account, the refund might take up to 5 working days and with a credit or debit card payment, the funds will be returned to your card. It can take up to 30 days+ for the refund to appear on your card statement. If you have made a payment accidentally, you can contact SEAGM support and request a refund for all orders that were uncompleted or undelivered. Check your SEAGM order status from your SEAGM profile
(vii) Denied: If your payment was denied, it means that the merchant does not accept it or it's on potential risk payment. You may be able to find out why on the Activity page. Payment can also show "denied" when a card payment is attempted but is declined by the card issuer. We do encourage you to contact your card issuer support to check on it.
