1. Why do I need to provide documents for verification?
Answer: Online fraud/scam, credit card theft, and unauthorized access to payment accounts such as Skrill are common nowadays due to users' lack of security sense. Documents are one effective way to identify and verify the payment is made by the user. This acts as a protection for the user as well as SEAGM.
2. When do I need to do the verification?
Answer: User is required to provide documents for verification, including but not limited to when your payment is flagged by our fraud system, your account being suspended, personal particulars not updated or verified, our system detected suspicious activity on your account.
3. What happened to the documents after I send it to SEA Gamer Mall?
Answer: SEA Gamer Mall employs strict rules internally on customers' documents handling and safe-keeping. All collected personal documents collected from customers will be saved on a local server. This server is only accessible by authorized personnel locally. The document server is not connected to the internet.
4. How long do you keep my personal documents?
Answer: Documents collected will be kept for 1 month in a secure encrypted local server.
5. Why do I need to verify via selfie
Answer: A ONE-OFF selfie of your face holding national ID/passport which full name/housing address clearly showing AND a note written the WEBSITE and DATE of purchase will be mandatory especially for new registration. The selfie is for identity verification, safety, and may be used to assist the authorities when required.
Note: To confirm your identity, our Customer Service team may request another selfie for verification purposes when required to do so.

6. How long does the verification process take?
Answer: Verification is usually completed within 5 minutes, although it may take longer in certain cases.
